Early AI Act implementation law; assertive on copyright and likeness rights
Regulatory posture
Denmark moved early on the machinery of the AI Act — designating authorities and sanctions in national law ahead of most member states — and separately became the first country to propose giving people copyright-style control over their own face and voice in response to deepfakes. It is the Nordic jurisdiction most willing to legislate ahead of Brussels.
